i-Lab | IISER Bhopal

i-Lab Research | Sensors, Bioelectronics, Intelligent Systems & more | Innovation in Sensing Applications

i-Lab practices and encourages imagination, innovation, and implementation of science and technological ideas. The research interests of the group focus on sensors and systems, flexible/wearable electronics, bioelectronics, biomedical engineering, micro-nanoelectronics, energy harvesters, softrobotics, intelligent systems, reconfigurable antennas, IoT, smart materials, and neuromorphic devices. Apart from this, research works in the direction of microfluidics, spintronics, computation/ theory, and electronic device developments are also performed.

The research works are primarily based on an interdisciplinary approach to develop affordable and/or efficient devices for healthcare, agriculture, and environmental applications. Many non-conventional techniques are being developed in this direction, and efforts are made to convert them into commercial prototypes or products.
